NOTICE OF WARNING
It has been brought to our attention that a few clients who are using the CryoPEN have been using cartridges that are not manufactured by H & O Equipments, the manufacturers of the CryoPEN.
Please note that the use of any other cartridge other than the CryoPEN cartridge will
- Damage the CryoPEN
- Render the CryoPEN warranty as null and void. Any damage discovered through the use of a non CryoPEN cartridge will not be repaired by the manufacturer.
We are further advised that there are non- SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) registered or licenced companies offering Cryotherapy devices and consumables.
Please note that these non- SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority) vendors are operating illegally in terms of the SAHPRA (ex MCC Act110) and that the purchaser of any products from such a vendor will have no claim or recourse in the event of a product failure or patient incident.
If you are approached by a non registered or licenced vendor offering any Cryotherapy equipment or supplies, please advise Sere-med, who will report them to the SAHPRA legal department.
Sere-med will continue to support our products and offer continued training and advise on the most beneficial use of our products.
